Just saw a great little exhibit of some rather whimsical kinetic sculptures at the Ontario Science Centre. They arise from the imagination of the late Rowland Emett, an English cartoonist and artist.

And I learned that the Ontario Science Centre owns the largest single collection of Emett machines.

The machines invoke a feeling of a Roald Dahl story with their fantastical and whimsical nature. Here’s a few pics from the exhibit.
