Instead of our usual route through the neighbourhood, my dog and I walked to the Bloor Viaduct to check out the Luminous Veil event where the viaduct’s new lighting will be unveiled. All of Bloor Street from Parliament to Broadview was closed off, open only to pedestrians and cyclists.

It was weird to be walking down the middle of Bloor Street with no cars around.

And John Tory addresses the large crowd on hand. I didn’t stick around for the actual Veil lights to come on as my dog was starting to get annoyed by the large number of people and loud noise. But will try to get a shot of the Veil posted soon.
